1. The Charging Facility Industry Is Promising

In the current construction and development of new energy in China, the new energy vehicle industry of China has become one of its internationally leading industries. Up to now, the cumulative number of new energy vehicles has reached 2.21 million. According to the planning of the state and local governments, it is estimated that by 2020, the number of new energy vehicles will reach 5 million, and the number of charging piles as supporting facilities will be close to 4.8 million, and the ratio of vehicles to piles will be close to 1:1. So far the total number of charging facilities is only about 840,000, and the ratio of vehicles to piles is as high as 2.63:1. It can be seen that China’s charging pile industry has a huge potential for development.

2. CYG SUNRI Moves Forward Steadily

2018 witnessed CYG SUNRI’s great achievements in the electric vehicle charging industry. As of October 2018, CYG SUNRI made remarkable achievements in projects of State Grid and China Southern Power Grid, and other projects, and the value of bid-winning projects in the electric vehicle charging industry increased by about 40% over the previous year. So far CYG SUNRI has put more than 11,000 sets of AC/DC charging equipment into operation. With its charging facilities covering more than 20 provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions in China, CYG SUNRI has basically completed the nationwide layout of charging facilities.

CYG SUNRI delivered more than 3,000 sets of charging equipment to State Grid Corporation and put them into operation. The equipment are scattered in more than 10 provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government, including DC single/double gun charging piles, split charging piles, and AC wall-mounted/floor-mounted charging piles. The project was successfully delivered in Beijing in 2018, covering various important stations such as the charging station in the Great Hall of the People.

The projects of China Southern Power Grid Corporation were independently tendered by its provincial branches. In the past two years, CYG SUNRI won several bids for the charging facility frameworks of Guangdong Grid. Since 2017, CYG SUNRI has delivered more than 2,000 sets of charging equipment and put them into operation in the areas covered by grids of China Southern Power Grid. The charging equipment has been running stably in more than 100 charging stations.

In 2018, CYG SUNRI also made great achievements in social projects. CYG SUNRI’s charging products can be applied in various scenarios, such as DC fast charging stations for buses, DC fast charging stations for taxis, and multi-charging stations in underground parking garages. Nearly 1,000 sets of charging equipment have been running safely, stably and reliably, and the product quality has been well recognized by major charging operators.
