Songzao coal and electricity company is a key state-owned enterprise, affiliated to Chongqing Energy Investment Group Co., LTD. The company is located in the southern mining area of Chongqing city, and it is the largest production base for anthracitic coal and thermal coal in Chongqing. The company reserves of coal takes 70% of municipal reserve.

With the continuous increasing of production, the power supply quality becomes more and more important. At the beginning of 2015, Songzao Coal and Electricity Company initiated the construction of distribution automation in the factory. As a major equipment supplier for China's power grid, CYG provided a complete range of distribution automation products for this project (SCADA, EMS, and DTS).
