220 kV Liucheng substation is a pilot project of 220 kV digital modular substation of State Grid Corporation of China in Fujian Province, which is of great significance to the economic construction of Zherong County. The project construction scale is, 2 sets 180 MVA transformer, 6 sets 220 kV transmission line; 5 sets 110 kV transmission line; 16 sets 10 kV outgoing feeder. 220 kV and 110 kV primary equipment are outdoor GIS layout, 10 kV primary equipment are outdoor switchgear layout double row.

After the project was put into operation in December, 2013, the structure of power grid in Ningde has been optimized further, the power supply capability and reliability of Zirong County Power Grid will be greatly improved, and Zerong will be completely solved the bottleneck problem of instability and low voltage because of a terminal power supply, and provide a strong power support for the goal “transfer the resource advantages in Zherong County into Economic advantages”.
