In view of this, most equipment manufacturers only consider whether their products can meet the needs of power system construction, but pay little attention to whether the later operation and inspection are convenient. “CYG SUNRI is different. On the one hand, we take product operation and maintenance into consideration at the beginning of product R&D; On the other hand, we have invested a lot of energy in operation and inspection, and have developed products and systems specifically for operation and inspection services. Compared with conventional substations, intelligent substations integrate more advanced technical means. They apply intelligent devices to optimize the control of power grid equipment, and control substation systems with digital information technology. To a certain extent, they improve the safety of substations. The wide popularization and application of intelligent substations brings convenience, but also leads to many problems. Intelligent substations are greatly different to traditional substations. The secondary circuit of an intelligent substations is an optical fiber "virtual circuit", so the related information generated by equipment faults is much more than that of conventional substations. The secondary circuit is not intuitive, causing immense difficulties in fault location, early warning, equipment management and control, operation and maintenance, and inspections. Great challenges of operation and maintenance do exist.


In view of this, CYG SUNRI visited and researched a large number of intelligent stations, summarized and analyzed the field work. Based on its rich scientific research experience accumulated over the years and its technical advantages in the field of relay protection and substation integrated automation, CYG SUNRI creatively developed the online monitoring and diagnosis technology for intelligent substation protection equipment. With a friendly application interface that is compatible with traditional professional display, the technology is used to manage secondary equipment of intelligent substations through SCD files. The information of merged units, intelligent terminals, protection devices, safety automatic devices and switches is obtained from the networks at the station control layer and the process layer, so as to realize the operation monitoring, intelligent diagnosis and power grid fault analysis of secondary equipment of intelligent substations.


According to Qiao Ke, Product Manager of CYG SUNRI, the online monitoring and diagnosis technology for intelligent substation protection equipment consists of two parts, namely the PRS-7002 visual operation and maintenance substation and the PRS-7012 visual operation and maintenance master station. The master stations are deployed at operation and maintenance centers at all levels for comprehensive management and statistical analysis of substations at all levels in the region, and remote operation and maintenance function can be realized with the dispatching data network; Slave stations are deployed at the substation ends to realize data acquisition, in-situ display of substation operation status information, and intelligent diagnosis of faults. The PRS-7002 intelligent substation visual operation and maintenance system can automatically complete information acquisition, measurement, control and protection, and can support automatic inspection and intelligent management and control of power grids as needed.


According to the public bidding results of secondary operation and maintenance management tools released by China Southern Power Grid Company Limited, CYG SUNRI Co., Ltd. won the bid for the “Substation Secondary Operation and Maintenance Management Toolkit 1”. This is the first public bidding of China Southern Power Grid for secondary operation and maintenance management tools. CYG SUNRI won the bid by virtue of its “Online Monitoring and Diagnosis Technology for Intelligent Substation Protection Equipment" after winning the bid for a similar product of State Grid (Zhejiang Intelligent Substation Visual Remote Expert Diagnosis System, intelligent substation status monitoring, and the value of bid is nearly 10 million yuan), including one 500kV substation and four 220kV substations.


Xu Chengbin noted that, “Some enterprises can constantly push forward the development of power grid construction, propose corresponding standards according to the requirements of power grid construction, and create new value for power grid construction. That’s what distinguishes them from other enterprises. More importantly, enterprises should attach importance to construction value. ”
